PRESS RELEASE: Annual blockchain conference at the International Engineering Fair in Brno

PRESS RELEASE

(Brno, October 9, 2019) - At the International Engineering Fair in Brno, the Electrical and Electronic Association of the Czech Republic and the subsidiary “ELA Blockchain Services” organized the first annual conference on the industrial blockchain, which successfully operates not only in the Czech Republic.

The conference was opened by Otto Havle, the chairman of the Board of Directors of “ELA Blockchain Services”. The fully workable ElA Blockchain platform was introduced including the first BlockchainNotarius® application. The conference was divided into four blocks. In the first block, Otto Havle and Jan Prokš (member of the Board of Directors of “ELA Blockchain Services”) provided a detailed information about the current state and security of the network and the platform, including the BlockchainNotarius® application. In the second block, participants interested in establishing an own node were informed about requirements. Jiří Pešek from Almeto introduced services offered to node owners. The third block was devoted to developers and an expert discussion about the technology itself. Here, examples of advanced applications and the recommended procedure for developing and integrating new applications into the ElA blockchain were presented. Questions were answered by ElA blockchain developers from IBM and the Czech Technical University. In the fourth block, the legal aspects of the use of blockchain were discussed.

Participants of the annual conference became familiar with the blockchain, its effective exploitation and opportunities offered by the blockchain. A practical experience with the development and operation of the blockchain platform was also presented. Participants of the conference were surprised that the system can be joined very easily.

The annual ElA Blockchain meeting will be held every year on the occasion of the International Engineering Fair in Brno.
